WHAT’S NEW

NEW FEATURES

OPERATORS

  • Added new Operator: Deimos

    • Deimos’ unique ability is the DeathMARK Tracker - a miniature flying probe that tracks a designated target, forcing a duel between Deimos and the target and allowing both to be aware of each other's position until time runs out or one of them is killed.

GAMEPLAY

  • Spawn Peek Protection

    • Attackers are now invulnerable during the Prep Phase and the first 10 seconds of the Action Phase. If an Attacker manages to get inside the building, it ends their invulnerability early. If you aim and shoot an invulnerable player, a warning will be displayed.

    • Applied on all modes. We will be closely monitoring the impact of this change.

  • Added a dedicated Prone button

    • The option to add a Prone button has been added in the HUD Customization Tool. By default, no Prone button is available, so going prone is executed by holding down the Crouch button. If you want to trigger Crouch and Prone using two separate buttons, enable "Prone Button” in the button list.

BALANCING

GAMEPLAY

  • All guns now kill instantly (skipping DBNO) on headshots at any range, except Shotguns.

    • This should help Attackers get more kills in cases where the Defender went DBNO behind cover and the Attacker couldn't confirm the kill. Crit Range is still used to determine whether bodyshots go DBNO.

  • Nerfed drop-shotting: going prone and moving while prone now takes you out of ADS, making prone more of a commitment.

  • Changed how ammo is calculated when using both Wallbuster Bullets and larger magazines. This should result in slightly higher ammo counts for these combinations.

OPERATORS

  • Ying

    • T-95 LSW:

      • Increased range to 18m (from 15m)

      • Increased damage at max range to 34 (from 30)

    • We’re buffing her primary weapon to help Ying follow up on blinded enemies without having to rely on headshots.

  • Twitch

      • Reduced damage at min range to 36 (from 42)

    • Shock Drone:

      • Decreased targeting radius of Twitch’s Shock Drone to provide less reliable intel, especially while it is moving.

    • Twitch still benefits from being the biggest counter to Valkyrie, and her damage output is too high. With these changes, Twitch will have to be more precise, both when targeting Gadgets and when shooting at enemies.

  • Hibana

    • Type-89 CQB:

      • Reduced base mag size to 20 (from 25)

    • This brings the weapon in line with Siege's mag size. We initially increased it to make her friendlier to newcomers, but the Extended Mag and Large Mag made her too effective.

  • Valkyrie

    • MPX:

      • Reduced damage at min range to 30 (from 35)

      • Reduced damage at max range to 24 (from 28)

    • Valkyrie gets a lot of value from her Cameras, and has limited counters. We are increasing her primary weapon’s time to kill to make her rely on headshots more, and we’re planning further tweaks in the future
