In Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, when progressing far enough into the main story quest, you can unlock the Fabric of Time.
 
The Fabric of Time is a Time Power that can be used for movement as well as combat.
After you unlock the power, you can tap the button on the screen or press the assigned key (external controller) to activate it. 
 
When exploring, you can activate this power to latch on objects, such as poles, by pressing the button on the screen or the assigned key for external controllers.
  

In combat, you can press the button or assigned key to pull Sargon to the enemy. 
If you press and hold the button or assigned key, you can drag the enemy towards Sargon or break their shields. This may not work with all types of enemies.
