In Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, when progressing far enough into the main story quest, you can unlock the Dimensional Claw.
 
The Dimensional Claw is a Time Power that can be used for combat and solving puzzles.
 
After you unlock the power, you can press the assigned key or button to activate it. 
 
Sargon will open a Dimensional Rift that allows him to temporarily trap objects such as smaller enemies and projectiles in front of him.

You can only have one projectile or enemy trapped in the Dimensional Rift at any time.
 
An icon on the bottom left of the screen will indicate if something is currently trapped in the Dimensional Rift.

This allows you to break cracked walls with explosive barrels or drop enemies into traps.
 
Some puzzles in the game may prevent you from carrying objects captured in the Dimension to different rooms or zones.
 
Should you die while exploring Mount Qaf, the Dimensional Claw will be reset.
