If a manager wants a specific player on their lineup, but they don’t have the card for that player, they have the option to hire “free agents”. There are two major differences between free agents and player cards:

• Player cards have access to basic player boosters, which means that for each point made by the player in the related booster category, a bonus is applied - increasing the manager's score.

• The salaries of free agents are higher than the corresponding card's salary, which can be impactful when considering an event's salary cap.
