If you’re having trouble using the Rocksmith Tuner Connect feature, the connection between the app and your PC might be blocked by your system’s firewall.
To make sure your connection is not blocked, follow the steps below to add the Rocksmith Tuner to the Windows Firewall exceptions.
- Close Rocksmith+.
- Open the Windows start menu and search for "Firewall with Advanced Security."
- Select “Windows Defender Firewall” with “Advanced Security.”
- Choose “Inbound Rules” in the top left corner of the window.
- Select “New Rule...” in the top right corner of the window.
- The New Inbound Rule Wizard window will open.
- Make sure the “Program” option is checked and choose “Next.”
- Make sure the “This program path” option is checked and select “Browse...”
- Navigate to the installation folder for Rocksmith+.
- Choose Rocksmith+.exe and select Open.
- Select Next in the New Inbound Rule Wizard window.
- Make sure the “Allow the connection” option is checked and choose “Next.”
- Make sure the Domain, Private and Public options are ticked and select “Next.”
- Type Rocksmith+ into the Name field and choose “Finish.”
- Re-open Rocksmith+ and set the Rocksmith Tuner app as your audio input.
