The region of Bothwoods is divided into unique locations that are unlocked one after another. Each location has a few different areas that represent the exterior and the interior areas of the location, such as the backyard and the living room of Gwen's cabin.

You unlock new areas as you progress in the story, and each area can take 2-3 chapters to complete. To complete a chapter, you must finish all the tasks of that chapter by spending stars. You can always check your chapter progress and the current tasks with your task book in the bottom left of the screen.
