NEW FEATURES

OPERATORS

  • Added new Operator: Fuze 

    • Fuze’s Cluster Charge propels a group of sub-grenades through any soft surfacemaking it ideal for clearing rooms of Gadgets and enemies. 

  • Reworked Rook’s Armor Pack

    • Armor Plates now guarantee a DBNO from all types of damage except for melee hits and headshots. 

    • Added a status effect to represent this change.

    • This does not bypass the fact that you can only go DBNO once per round.

GAME MODE

  • Added new Fuze Showcase game mode for players to familiarize themselves with Fuze. 

ONBOARDING

  • Grouped together existing features such as Map Trainingthe Shooting Range, and our basic tutorials with two new features - Operator Tutorials and Combat Training - as part of the new Training feature.

  • Added Persona Based Onboarding, a quick survey that allows players to determine their level of onboarding based on how familiar they are with Rainbow Six and tactical shooters.

 

LEADERBOARDS

  • The Top 200 Master players will now have their exact global Rank displayed on their Rank badge. You will also see this Rank during matches, making it easy to recognize when you're facing one of the best players in the world.

 

USER INTERFACE

  • Added more details to our network connectivity warnings, in addition to settings that allow you to customize what information you would prefer to see. 

  • Added floor labels (B, 1F, 2F) to the stationary Camera icons. 

  • Revamped and improved the ability to claim rewards through the Inbox.

 

ALLY HEALTH AWARENESS 

  • Operator name (or Username) is now shown above the Operator in-game.

  • The dot above allies in-game has been replaced by the portrait of the Operator. This can be enabled/disabled in Settings.

  • Injured teammates' portraits are now highlighted. This can be enabled/disabled in Settings.

  • Ally armor values are now represented on the top bar.

  • DBNO timer is now shown on the top bar.

 

PING WHEEL 

  • The Ping Wheel allows players to quickly communicate with allies by double-tapping and holding the screen, or by using the Ping button. 

  • Clearly communicate plans and strategies using a new selection of useful Pings.

FIRST PARTY ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Added a list of 10 Achievements to complete through either Apple Game Center or Google Play Games, depending on your device.

MAIN MENU

  • Added a feature that allows you to showcase your favorite Operators in the Main Menu.

BALANCING

FRIENDLY FIRE

  • Reworked the fire from Capitão’s Fire Bolts to damage both friendlies and enemies. 

  • Reworked Smoke’s toxic gas to damage both friendlies and enemies. 

  • Added a slowdown penalty to any allies who get caught in friendly explosions. 

 

RANKED

  • Increased the impact that individual performance has on the amount of Valor XP earned in Ranked matches. 

  • MVP and SVP now earn additional Valor XP

  • Reduced the Valor XP required to earn a Shield: 

    • Gold: 300 → 250 

    • Platinum: 450 → 300 

    • Diamond: 500 → 350 

  • Reduced the number of Diamond Medals required for promotion from 7 to 6

  • Increased the match score contribution to Valor XP from 0.0065 to 0.01. 

  • Increased the maximum performance-based Valor XP from 20 to 50.

  • Removed the House map from Ranked.  

 

OPERATORS 

  • Kapkan 
    • Multiple EDD traps can now be deployed around a single window or doorframe. 
  • Jäger 
    • Magpie can now intercept and destroy Capitão’s Crossbow Bolts. 
  • Capitão 
    • Minimum lingering burn damage reduced to 2×15 (from 4×15). 
  • Twitch 
    • Shock Drone’s Taser Shot is now easier to see. 
    • Improved feedbacks when receiving Taser Shot damage. 
  • Valkyrie 
    • Black Eye Cameras now glow while actively used, making them easier to spot. 

 

SCORING 

  • Added and modified scoring events to reward certain types of assists.

GAMEPLAY

  • Fixed an issue where the ADS Button would automatically cancel its action when pressed after throwing a Gadget or grenade. R6M-5836

  • Fixed an issue where enemies could shoot through Castle’s Armor Panels while they were being deployed

  • Fixed an issue where Hatch reinforcements would appear as vertical and could be destroyed like soft surfaces. R6M-4816 

  • Fixed an issue where Sprint Lock would activate if the player rappelled upward quickly. 

  • Fixed an issue where the “Sprint Always Exists Prone/Crouch” settings would only work with Sprint Lock sprints. R6M-3138

  • Fixed an issue where double tapping the opposite Lean Button canceled leaning faster than a single tap of the Lean Button. R6M-2131

  • Fixed an issue where players could detach from the wall when rappelling in certain corners. R6M-2138 

  • Fixed an issue that caused the defuser to sometimes clip through the ground when dropped. 

GADGETS

  • Fixed an issue where switching from Buck’s Skeleton Key to his Primary Weapon removed functionality from the Fire Button.  R6M-6300

  • Fixed an issue where the player was unable to cancel a Caveira Interrogation if they were using a controllerR6M-5237

  • Fixed an issue where back-to-back Interrogations from Caveira would not extend the length of time enemies were revealed for.  R6M-3801

  • Fixed an issue where player FOV changed after cancelling the deployment of any Camera Gadgets. R6M-2014 

  • Fixed a bug that made the Welcome Mat take no damage from explosions that landed at very specific angles. 

ATTACHMENTS

  • Fixed an issue where the T2 Reflex Optic from Capitão’s “Brash Buccaneer” set was missing its aiming reticle. R6M-6121

  • Fixed an issue where Deimos’ Shrapnel Rounds increased Damage Range instead of decreasing Damage Range.  

MAP

  • Fixed an issue on Bank where a gap could be glimpsed between the wall and floor in both EXT Construction Site and EXT Garage Ramp.  R6M-4291

  • Fixed an issue on Bank where the money bag prop’s hitbox was too large in 2F CEO Office. R6M-4003

  • Fixed an issue where several walls in Villa would disappear when viewed from a distance.  R6M-4680

  • Fixed instances of walls disappearing near 2F Aviator Room and 2F Study on Villa. R6M-4066

  • Fixed bunk bed collision issues on Oregon.  R6M-2202

  • Fixed an issue on Summit where certain assets would turn transparent when viewed through destroyed soft floors. R6M-2201

  • Fixed an issue on Border where a wooden beam on the roof prevented players from rappelling up safely, and instead condemned them to fall several stories to their doom.  R6M-2141

USER INTERFACE

  • Fixed an issue where reconnecting to a Match would make the ammo counter disappear from the HUD. R6M-4464

  • Fixed an issue where some players were unable to access their game with their account. R6M-2850

  • Fixed an issue where Operator challenge missions would show Event rewards after navigating away from Event challenges. R6M-6242
