Why will Rainbow Six Mobile's age rating change on the App Store?
Starting July 7th, 2026, Rainbow Six Mobile will be updated to an 18+ rating on the Apple App Store. This change is required by platform policies and is not optional. We're committed to complying with platform requirements to ensure a safe and fair experience for all players.
I'm an existing player under 18. Will I lose access to the game?
Existing players who already have the game installed are expected to keep access after the rating change. This includes the ability to continue playing and updating the game as normal.
However, access to the game may be restricted at device-level or account-level, depending on existing parental controls. If you're experiencing issues accessing the game, we recommend checking your device's Screen Time or Family Sharing settings with your parent or legal guardian (see below).
I'm new to the game and under 18. Can I download Rainbow Six Mobile?
Due to the updated 18+ rating on the App Store, new players under 18 may be prevented from downloading the game depending on their device and account settings.
I'm a parent or guardian. What do I need to know?
The App Store age rating change means Rainbow Six Mobile is now classified as 18+ content. Depending on how your family's Apple devices and accounts are configured, your child's access to the game may be affected by existing parental controls.
Apple provides tools to help you manage what content is accessible on your child's device:
- Screen Time allows you to set content and privacy restrictions by age rating directly on the device.
- Family Sharing allows you to manage purchases and app downloads for family members, including approving or restricting access to 18+ content.

We encourage parents and guardians to review their family's settings if they have any concerns.
Does this affect all countries?
The 18+ rating update on the App Store applies globally. However, because most existing players are expected to retain access, the practical impact will vary depending on individual device and account configurations.
I made a purchase on the App Store and I'm no longer able to access the game. Can I get a refund?
All purchases made through the Apple App Store are handled directly by Apple. If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please follow Apple's refund process:
