FEATURES

GAMEPLAY (Missing from Y1.6 Patch Notes)

  • Added a setting for Colorblind Outlines.
    • Under Accessibility settings, you can now change the color of enemy and ally outlines.
  • Added Stair Markers & Drone Entry Markers.
    • This feature shows the closest staircase leading to an objective site and the closest Drone entrance while in Drone view. Map traversal is an issue for both newer players and experienced players playing on new maps, so we hope this feature makes learning maps easier.
    • Visibility settings can be edited under Accessibility settings.

BALANCING

GAMEPLAY

  • Balance pass on the following Attacker primary weapons:
    • Ash - R4-C:
      • Buffed range to 15m (from 12m).
      • Her KDR is average but below expectations for an Entry Fragger. This addresses some frustrations from headshots not translating into kills at mid-range, bringing her range in line with other Assault Rifles.
    • Ying - T-95 LSW:
      • Buffed range to 15m (from 12m).
      • Her KDR and Win Rate are below average. Like Ash, this addresses some frustrations from headshots not translating into kills at mid-range.
  • Twitch - F2:
      • Nerfed range to 14m (from 18m).
      • Nerfed damage at close range to 38 (from 45).
      • Her KDR is too high. This will bring her in line with similar Assault Rifles.

GADGETS

  • Increased Thermite Exothermic Charge ammo to 3 (from 2)
    • Hibana is by far the most picked Attacker. Thermite is harder to master and more limited, so the extra gadget capacity should encourage players to try him out more.

IMPROVEMENTS

GAMEPLAY (Missing from Y1.6 Patch Notes)

  • Improved Claw input / Multitouch support R6M-239
    • Under Touch Controls settings, a new setting called "Buttons Allow Camera Rotation" has been added, enabled by default. If you use more than two fingers to play, you may want to disable this setting.
  • Standardized ADS/Hip Auto-Shoot
    • Any mention of Tactical Focus has been removed. Now Auto-Shoot behavior and feedback are the same whether you are in ADS or in Hip Fire. It should feel more responsive to use, and fairer on the receiving end.
  •  Disabled the scan causing a floating portrait to hang over enemies

BUG FIXES

GAMEPLAY

  • Fixed an issue where the notification message was missing when an Operator is scanned by a Drone or stationary Camera
  • Fixed Flash Hider having the wrong description.
  • Fixed Stair and Drone Entrance Markers being visible while spectating an ally.
  • Fixed an exploit on the Villa map that allowed Defenders to access exterior locations during the Prep Phase. R6M-1944
  • Fixed an issue causing camera clipping through Rook's primary weapon Iron Sight.

PLAYLIST

  • Fixed an issue where the respawn timer would not display correctly in modes where the player respawns.
  • Fixed an issue where Death Drones were present during some Ranked matches.
  • Fixed an issue in Zone Secure where the first round “Results” screen showed “TIME TO BEAT”, even if the Attackers did not achieve any % completion and it should have been showing “COMPLETION TO BEAT”.
  • Fixed an issue in Zone Secure where the “halfway” progress message was incorrect.
  • Fixed an issue where the player would briefly see the wrong Playlist in the Fireteam lobby.

AUDIO

  • Fixed missing audio across menus and matches. R6M-1873

MAP

  • Fixed an issue that allowed Drones to get out of bounds on the Villa map. R6M-1923
  • Fixed an issue that allowed Drones to get out of bounds on the Clubhouse map.
