WHAT’S NEW
BALANCING
GAMEPLAY
- Smoke - Remote Gas Grenade Buff: Increased Smoke's toxic gas damage to 20 every 0.5s (from 15). This will kill Attackers faster and narrow the difference between Operator weight classes.
- Pump Shotgun Buff: Increased the speed of the pump animation on Mute and Smoke's primary weapons, resulting in a faster fire rate.
- Weapon Recoil: Reduced vertical recoil for all guns by 30%, and removed the first shot recoil multiplier, improving weapon control on default Loadouts.
- ADS Transition Speed: Slowed down ADS transition speed to bring it closer to the feel of R6 Siege. This aims to slow down engagements and encourage a more tactical approach over running & gunning.
- Standardized ADS Movement Speed: The movement speed while in ADS is now 2.34m/s for all Operators. This makes all Operators faster, but is more noticeable with slower Operators. Attachments now provide a maximum of +10% and minimum -20% ADS movement speed. Lightweight Frames and Heavyweight Frames were changed from affecting ADS movement speed to affecting ADS transition speed.
- Iron Sights Change: Iron Sights now grant +5% Movement Speed outside of ADS (instead of +10% Movement Speed in ADS).
- Quick Magazines: Changed from removing 20% of ammunition to removing 1 magazine’s worth of reserve ammunition, bringing them in line with the Light Magazines.
GAME MODES
- Players can now access a new Practice Mode Playlist against bots following their first Match.
EVENTS
- Gold Bullets will now sometimes be given for free as an Event reward when completing challenges.
IMPROVEMENTS
HUD
- Updated the default Gadget/Drone View HUD Layout to be more comfortable.
- Updated the default HUD Customization Layout to be more comfortable.
- Changed ADS Button Lean Slider behavior to "Off" by default.
- Increased the maximum limit for horizontal and vertical sensitivity.
BUG FIXES
GAMEPLAY
- Fixed multiple issues where the ping and scan buttons on Drones and Cameras were not available.
- Fixed an issue where the Drone’s point of view would still be shown after the Drone was destroyed.
- Fixed an issue where players encountered Error 1102 during the Pre-Match loading screen in Quickplay and were sent back to the main menu.
GADGETS
- Fixed a bug where Sledge's Breaching Hammer would fail to destroy hatches despite the crosshair appearing white (indicating a valid destructible surface).
- Fixed a bug where gadget deployment on walls would sometimes be off-center from the Operator view.
MENUS
- Fixed a bug causing Error 149 and preventing players from entering the lobby.
- Fixed an issue causing the wrong gadget icon to be displayed when switching between Loadouts.
- Fixed text split across the menus for various languages.
- Fixed an issue where Playlist artwork was not loading.
BOOT CAMP
- Fixed an issue were the Boot Camp and Battle Pass were not unlocked properly after the first Match.
SOCIAL
- Fixed an issue where Text Chat would disappear following a Match after players had formed a Fireteam.
- Fixed an issue where text would jump up every time the player received a new message.
- Fixed an issue where the count of the Social tab was not correctly displaying the number of online friends.
USER INTERFACE
- Fixed an issue where the Operator recap screen was missing the game mode description in Ranked.
- Fixed an Error Code 804 encountered when applying customization items.
- Fixed an erroneous "0 matches left" pop-up that would appear when unlocking a new Playlist.
STORE
- Fixed an issue causing an Error 1 when viewing Ads.
- Fixed an issue causing an Error 2619 when trying to claim items or purchase skins.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the Warning icon on Silver/Gold Bullets or Obsidian from properly disappearing.
