GAMEPLAY
WEAPON RECOIL CHANGES
Universally removed hard left/right changes of direction during recoil. We also almost universally toned down the first shot recoil of weapons, as it made long range aim adjustments too inconsistent and awkward depending on the weapon.
This should enable more burst-focused firing styles to shine at mid/long ranges. Vertical recoil is also more uniform when firing full-auto, making the spacing between each shot more equal.
These changes are aimed at making recoil control more rewarding and consistent, while keeping a similar level of difficulty across the board.
Bandit
Changed pattern to be more challenging but also more consistent.
Dokkaebi
Reduced recoil overall, added second recoil stage that smooths out recoil for the remainder of magazine.
Hibana
The pattern is less aggressive while having slightly more randomness in the second half.
ATK Recruit
Tightened horizontal randomness.
Rook
Tightened horizontal recoil spread.
Sledge
Smoothed out recoil pattern to be more uniform throughout.
Thatcher
Overall recoil reduction.
Recoil spread now goes left.
Thermite
Smoother and more predictable horizontal recoil.
Recoil spread now goes left.
Twitch
Higher randomness in the second half of the magazine.
Valkyrie
Reduced vertical climb.
SMG-11
Made early/mid spray predictable and kept the second half of the magazine mostly random.
DRONE
- Drones are now unable to jump while scanning.
