We're sorry to hear this, please read below to see if we can help restore your game save progression!
Firstly, did you save your progress in the Cloud before? It is the best way to keep it safe if you switch devices or uninstall the game, as without Cloud saving you may inadvertently reset all progress made locally, including in-app purchases.
Cloud Save Troubleshooting
Important: If switching devices, progress cannot be restored to a different OS type, e.g. an iPhone to an Android phone. So you will only be able to load your progress to another device of the same OS type.
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection using Wi-Fi or mobile data.
- Make sure you have the latest version of Hungry Shark World downloaded from Google Play / App Store.
- iOS - If you previously used ‘Sign in with Apple’ for Cloud Save, make sure you are signing into the same account your existing save data is linked to.
- If you previously used ‘Facebook’ for Cloud Save, make sure you are signing into the same account your existing save data is linked to.
If you previously used ‘Automatic Cloud Save’ (no social login or account), make sure you have checked the following in your device settings before opening the game:
Android - signed into your same Google Account + ‘Backup by Google One’ has been enabled. This can be found under Settings > System > Backup. If just toggled ON, you may need to wait up to 24 hours. More info here: Back up your device - Android - Google One Help
iOS - signed into your same Apple iCloud Account + ‘iCloud Backup’ has been enabled, and Hungry Shark World is also enabled under the ‘Apps using iCloud’ section. Both of these can be found under Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud.
