In the event the servers are up and you are still having trouble connecting, it is important to understand that your internet service provider (ISP) and the way you share the connection speed can play a big role in how you experience the game.​

To try and improve your overall connection to Growtopia and its features, please try the below steps in the order listed:  

• Reset network hardware
• Switch to a wired connection
• Check for software conflicts
• Enable UPnP (Please contact your ISP for additional information and help with enabling this feature)
• Forward ports used by the game
  • Below are the ports you need for Growtopia:
    • TCP: 80
    • UDP: 16999 - 17200
  • This step will also help you establish an Open NAT for your connection with the game.
• Reset the hosts file
• Flush DNS
• Check for external restrictions
