If you are receiving an error after trying to unlink your Ubisoft Connect account or Steam account, you can resolve this by:

• Logging into your account
• Click on the in-game menu button on the right hand side of the screen
• Click on the "Logout" option

Your account will now be unlinked, you can restart the game and either play with your Ubisoft Connect or Steam account progress or link your account again.
