The recent Growtopia tutorial update was designed with a primary goal in mind: to offer you greater flexibility and control over your learning experience within the game. The focus was on reducing the compulsion to follow a rigid, linear path during tutorials, allowing you the freedom to revisit specific steps or actions whenever necessary.
By minimizing forced tutorial steps, the update empowers you to navigate through the tutorial at your own pace and revisit specific sections as needed. This change enables you to refresh your understanding of game actions, mechanics, or features without feeling constrained by a one-time, mandatory tutorial process.
The intention behind this update is to create a more user-centric learning environment, ensuring that you can reinforce your knowledge and skills whenever you wish.
New System Summary – Crazy Jim
The new feature will add a new UI button in the top left of your screen to be always visible. This button gives you a direct access to Crazy Jim, who guides you through the tutorial.
This button will show your current active quests and an icon indicating daily and active quests that need your action.
A “hint” button is also added to show a one-shot hint on how to achieve your current tasks and can be repeated as many times as needed.
